Ichthys Capital is a proprietary investment company (PIC) specialising in asset management, investing, and quantitative research with offices in the Dubai International Financial Centre, United Arab Emirates and Mayfair, London, United Kingdom. We seek to implement a rigorous and thorough research-driven approach to investing our proprietary capital in public markets across five key components of our trading strategy: quantitative research (statistical, market-neutral, pairing, multi-factor, predictive, arbitrage, momentum models), data analysis (time-series, predictive and statistical analysis), fundamentals modelling and forecasting (DCF valuation, relative valuation or market approach), algorithmic trading and discretionary equities, derivatives, commodities and fixed-income selection. Thanks to real-time data, analytics and curated investment techniques, we successfully capitalise on new market opportunities and liquid assets by implementing quantitative trading models on short/long investments, calculated leverage or hedging when applicable, and data-driven securities selection to maximise the value of our investments. We are also experts in portfolio management, ranging from a wide variety of assets (including alternative investments such as real estate and art), risk management techniques and ESG investing as part of Ichthys Capital’s belief in sustainable investing, corporate governance, and shareholder activism.
