Somos el semillero de Innovación en el Campo y en la Ingeniería para la Sociedad.
Desde el año 2013, ICIS surgió como una iniciativa de estudiantes de Ingeniería Agrícola interesados en fortalecer el vínculo entre el sector agrícola y la Academia para contribuir al desarrollo de tecnologías que afronten las problemáticas del contexto agrícola nacional con un enfoque integral técnico, social y ambiental.
Desde ese momento, nos hemos sumado varios estudiantes de distintas disciplinas para aprender y aportar desde nuestro conocimiento y las experiencias adquiridas sobre la marcha.
Las áreas de investigación que hemos abarcado en nuestros proyectos son; Suelos agrícolas, poscosecha, espectroscopía aplicada, prototipado y automatización de secadores, teledetección en la agricultura, entre otros.
