Founded in 1958, ICJ Canada promotes the rule of law, human rights, and judicial independence. We are an independent, non-governmental, and non-partisan organization, with a membership made up of judges, lawyers, law professors, and law students from across Canada. We are part of a strong global network of national sections and affiliated organizations of the Geneva-based ICJ, which has long been at the forefront of human rights advocacy and international legal development.
