ICMP represents more than 90% of the world’s published music - more than 170 million music tracks, of more than 5,000 recognised genres, from baroque to Brit Pop to K-Pop.
Our industry is the nexus point between music creation & music markets. Our members are the multi-billion annual investors in the world's songwriters and composers, then bring the world’s music to a global audience via all formats, including digital audio and AV music streaming; broadcast TV, radio and film; gaming; physical formats such as vinyl; print and hard copy songbooks; and public performances.
Some ICMP companies were established in the 1700s and are still thriving today. Others are at the forefront of innovative, modern technologies such as A.I., livestreaming, virtual reality and voice activated audio hardware.
