The ICMS Consulting Group is the pioneering student-run consultancy in Malaysia, leveraging the expertise of a diverse group of undergraduates and postgraduates from esteemed universities across six countries including the US, UK, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong to deliver exceptional consulting services. While the consulting profession is highly regarded in many countries, it remains relatively unknown to the majority of Malaysian students, creating a gap between them and industry professionals, who are often limited to students from elite institutions. Our unwavering commitment is to bridge this gap, which led to the establishment of ICG with two core missions: (1) Exposing Malaysian students to the consulting industry through real-life projects with clients, and (2) Facilitating direct connections between Malaysian students and experienced professionals in the field. We collaborate with clients across diverse industries, ranging from startups to multinational corporations and international non-profit organizations. By offering practical recommendations and empowering our passionate and capable student consultants, we aim to solve organizational and business challenges effectively. Our consultants are sourced from the prestigious International Council of Malaysian Scholars and Associates (ICMS) through rigorous selection processes. Furthermore, we have integrated operational models from leading consulting groups and supplemented them with customized foolproof measures. Our focus is to deliver maximum impact not only to our clients but also to our colleagues.
