The Chilean Committee of Museums, ICOM Chile is a group of professionals passionate about museums and national and international networks.
It was founded in the 50s, and reorganized in 1965. Since then, I have made a great effort to keep all Chilean museums informed of their activities and to support their work.
The National Committees are the main announcements of communication in the General Secretariat of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), attached to Unesco, and its partners. The 119 national committees for the management of ICOM's interests in their respective countries represent their members before ICOM and the results in the realization and success of the programs of the organization.
ICOM Chile has 130 partners and societies, of which there are 111 individuals and 19 institutions.
