ICON Italy® Kuala Lumpur - Penang - Melaka - Johor Bahru - Ipoh - Langkawi - Kota Kinabalu Food & Beverage private label company incorporated in Malaysia in 2013. Started as traditional supplier of Italian items on spot demand from the market, the fast growth of volume traded, made the operations more efficient in managing the sourcing and the logistics processes. Among the years, the offer changed from spot supply to sourcing on demand, providing service to the customers as their external Advance and Current Purchasing & Supply Chain department, aimed to scout dynamically the source of supply and handling the complete process up to the daily delivery. Upon receiving the 6/12 months list of items and the volume requested by each customer, ICON Italy has found the right sources , purchasing, importing and storing the dedicated containers and delivering the packing list of items to the last miles according to the daily needs. That strategy has provided price competitiveness, quality standard defined upfront, supply consistency, speed and leaner customer's structure. ICON Italy has proudly served luxury 5* hotel chains, resorts and large supermarkets such as: Le Meridien, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Shangri La, Hard Rock Hotels, Grand Hyatt, Eastern & Oriental, Hatten Hotels, Park Royal Resorts, The Royale Chulan, The Westin, Hilton, Giant Supermarkets ... In late 2018, the operations and the supply chain know how of ICON Italy were acquired by one of the local, largest food distributors.
