ICONS Innovation Strategies

ICONS is a private Italian group founded in 1999 that develops large-scale projects in the field of culture and science innovation. The commitment, passion, innovative spirit and skills of its team allow ICONS to be leader in the design of innovation strategies aimed at creating and measuring the impact of scientific research on society. ICONS is composed of Fondazione ICONS, a rare example of fully operative Italian foundation operating mainly in the European funded research and Horizon Programme; and ICONS srl, a consultancy providing high added value services in all areas of the group's expertise, with a specific focus on business innovation strategy. ICONS initiatives also include the editorial platform for the public communication of research in Europe, youris.com, and the philanthropic cultural project Theresia. A one-stop-shop for European researchers and innovators ICONS’ know-how has been built during more than 20 years working with the European researchers and innovators and constitutes the backbone of its skills. Through its three main areas of expertise (SCIENCE COMMUNICATION, SOCIAL and BUSINESS INNOVATION), ICONS designs original strategies to transfer research results and leading-edge innovation to society, leveraging on strong communication and dissemination, involvement of key stakeholders, business modeling, up to the provision of specific KPIs and advice to policy makers.
