We are the professional body for accountants in Somaliland. The establishment of the Institute was mandated by the Somaliland's Public Finance Law No. 75.
VISION OF ICPAS
To become a distinguished professional body in the advancement and promotion of accountancy, advisory and assurance services, business and good governance practices.
MISSION STATEMENT
To power the success of Somaliland business, ICPAS members, affiliates and students by providing the most relevant knowledge, resources and advocacy, and protecting the evolving public interest.
OUR OBJECTIVES
1. To represent professional accountants/auditors in Somaliland.
2. To advance the collective and individual interests of Accountants in Somaliland; to take awareness of, and keep the institute fully informed of, all matters affecting the interests of members, affiliates and students of the Institute.
3. To promote social contact and exchange ideas among members, affiliates, and students of the Institute.
4. To promote appropriate continuing professional development and training for the accountants.
5. To enhance the collaborations among the accountants.
6. To contribute to the accounting system of the country.
7. To certify professional and technician accountants.
