ICT Watch - Indonesia (Internet Sehat)

ICT Watch is a civil society organization that has initiated several digital literacy initiatives and movements in Indonesia. ICT Watch collaborates with multi-stakeholders (government, civil society, private sector, academic, and technical communities) in carrying out its programs. Various forms of activities are carried out for digital literacy education/advocacy. ICT Watch is one of Indonesia's pioneers of the digital literacy movement through the Cyber Wellness program, which was initiated in 2002. In May 2017, ICT Watch was awarded The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prize Winner from the ITU - UN because it was considered good in carrying out digital literacy collaboratively for the wider community. ICT Watch was also awarded the Tasrif Award from the Indonesian Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) in August 2014 because it was considered to have played a significant role in promoting the Internet to fulfill citizens' rights to information. ICT Watch Vision: "The realization of a human-centric digital ecosystem through Internet governance based on inclusiveness, fulfilling people's right to freedom of expression, as well as developing/utilizing information and communication technology wisely and ethically ." ICT Watch Mission: - Strengthening the meaningful participation of diverse stakeholders in Internet governance.
