Our Mission The Chevening Alumni Association Indonesia (CAAI) is a vibrant and dynamic community that brings together the brightest minds and the most forward-thinking leaders who have been part of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship program. Our mission is to foster a network of professionals committed to contributing positively to the development and prosperity of Indonesia and to maintain strong ties between Indonesia and the United Kingdom. RISE Initiative: Reflecting our commitment to Reinventing Governance, Inclusive Mindset, Expanding Impact, and Sparks Joy, this initiative encapsulates our approach to holistic development and positive societal contribution. Our History Founded on the shared experiences and values of our members who have studied in the UK, CAAI has grown into a diverse and robust network. We represent over 1,000 alumni across 16 different sectors, each bringing unique perspectives and skills honed in some of the world’s leading academic institutions. Our Impact CAAI alumni are trailblazers in their respective fields - from governance to academia, from civil society to industry. We are united by a common goal: to drive meaningful change and progress in our nation. Our members have actively contributed to policy-making, research, and social initiatives, demonstrating the transformative impact of the Chevening experience.
