Idea Builders Initiative

Idea Builders Initiative (IBI) is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to enabling women to see, understand, claim and demand their rights to economic freedom, gender equity, social justice and political inclusion. We have a focus to inspire women and girls to succeed as individuals before other roles in the society. IBI’s Mission is to inspire, engage and equip women and girls to transform their lives and serve as change agents in society. We believe that empowering women is the single most powerful development strategy that lifts entire families, and communities out of poverty. This is not only because poverty has a woman’s face, but also because research has shown that women are more likely to spend their income on food, education, and healthcare for their children - giving families a lasting path out of poverty.
