The AppCurate Idea Validation Phase provides a framework to help clients ponder, think deeply and, hopefully, find some ‘golden nuggets’ that your business can leverage now and in the future. The AppCurate Idea Validation Phase is 1 of 4 strategic workflow phases. But, first, let’s dispose of a cliché – DOES YOUR APP CONCEPT SOLVE A PROBLEM? It’s not possible to know whether your app idea resonates with your target market (solves a problem) unless your idea has been put under **normal** market conditions. Sure, you can test, but if the product user-experience is unknown or not fully understood, then it’s difficult to objectively build an innovative solution that makes money. To help orientate your thinking about this first AppCurate Phase – Idea Validation – we start by first discussing those elements in the ‘Orange Picture Frame’ (see our process graphic) because these tasks are relatively easy to execute. We, then, naturally cascade to the more detailed components INSIDE the ‘Orange Picture Frame’ of your app versus the overall market. For example, structured User Stories.
