Core Business • We export “fine products born from Japanese tradition” and “excellent products that families will want to use on a regular basis” to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. • We import products from the Middle East that are not already distributed in the Japanese market. Message from the President, Masamichi Idemitsu I established Idemitsu Shokai Co., Ltd. in 2018. Upon starting the business, it was my strong desire to use the name Idemitsu Shokai, founded by my grandfather, Sazo Idemitsu, the predecessor of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. in 1911. My grandfather, Sazo Idemitsu, always valued the word “sincerity.” With “sincerity” as the cornerstone of our company, we want to contribute to society by leveraging the Japanese heart and mind to connect people around the world and develop a business that forges strong ties between producers and consumers. I will work earnestly to fulfill this mission and live up to the ideals of my grandfather and father.
