About IDRC K4DM (Knowledge for Democracy Myanmar)
The Knowledge for Democracy Myanmar (K4DM) supports scholars to develop their knowledge and skills in leadership, public policy, federalism, applied social sciences, migration, digital rights and safety and higher education towards an inclusive democratic Myanmar. Initially launched in 2017 by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC), K4DM is now in its second phase, working with research institutions, civil societies and policymakers in the Myanmar diaspora to strengthen research and analytical capacity of Myanmar scholars.
