With over two decades in the private power sector, IEC’s principals and professional team have relationships and contacts that have proved valuable in sourcing investment opportunities in the energy sector. Our geographical experience is focused in the Northeast quadrant of the U.S. However, we have been involved in the successful development of projects in the Caribbean, Central and Latin America. Project types include small to medium scale “behind-the-fence” cogeneration systems (1 to 50 MW), conventional central plants at institutional sites, larger utility projects, utilizing a variety of technologies (gas turbines, reciprocating engines, power boilers, chilled water systems, and hydropower turbines). Our principals bring the perspective of owner’s (or equity investor), and our approach is to establish long-term relations with our host clients, leading to long-term annuity streams derived from the initial investment, as well as a continued operating presence.
