India Empowered Citizens Network (IECN) is a network of educated, informed, and engaged citizens dedicated to deepening awareness and participation in Indian polity and governance. Our core objectives are: Build Momentum by increasing awareness of the Indian Constitution, fundamental rights, political and civil rights, and the functions of the legislature, executive, judiciary, governance, policy-making, and tools like the RTI Act. Empower Citizens as Stakeholders — fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility towards democratic governance. Enable Citizens as Issue Framers — collaborating with government to prioritize and advocate for relevant Acts and laws. Transform Citizens as Co-producers of Services — facilitating active participation in public service delivery. Equip Citizens as Service Quality Evaluators — promoting accountability through citizen feedback and oversight. Overall Transformation into power-positive citizens who contribute constructively towards India's growth and governance.
