IEC New England(IEC-NE) is the region's premier trade association representing Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island independent electrical and systems contractors, aggressively working with the industry to establish a free environment for merit shops - a philosophy that promotes the concept of free enterprise, open competition and economic opportunity for all.
IEC-NE has been Empowering ElectriciansTM in Connecticut since its founding in 1968. Rhode Island and Massachusetts joined in 2003. IEC-NE Members are either electrical and systems contractors in our tri-state area or associate member companies which provide products and services to the contracting community.
IEC-NE is the 7th largest of more than 65 chapters of the Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. Members of all local chapters belong to our National Association.
