Chartered in 1957, the IEEE Fort Worth Section represents over 1,300 members across the western side of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area, including students from the University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Texas Christian University, and Tarleton State University. We support the engineering community through diverse activities, including the annual MetroCon Conference, K-12 engineering outreach, the Future Cities competition, and high school science fairs.
Our section supports and hosts a wide range of events, from general interest meetings to focused technical society chapter forums, covering key areas of engineering and technology. As part of IEEE Region 5, we are dedicated to advancing education, promoting continuous professional development, and advocating for national STEM policy.
