IEEE Greece Section

IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe. IEEE has more than 420,000 members in over 160 countries. It publishes a third of the world’s technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics and is a leading developer of international standards that underpin many of today’s telecommunications, information technology, and power-generation products and services. IEEE Greece Section, one of the largest Sections in Region 8 (Europe, Asia, Africa), has a total of 2020 members, 1610 of which are professional members and 410 are students. Its members organize more than 20 scientific conferences per year attracting more than 10000 visitors.
