It is the official LinkedIn Page of the Heritage Institute of Technology IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) Student Branch Chapter (SBC). We already have IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) Student Branch Chapter which is a Center Of Excellence from the year of 2011. Now we are opening our 2nd SBC (By ECE Dept.) i.e. Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S).
The primary objective is to create a learning atmosphere among those who have a keen interest in the field of Microwave Devices and Circuits which is accompanied by the collaborative involvement of Institute Faculties, Staffs and as well as students. The SBC organizes workshops, seminars, tech competitions, conferences and community service to impart microwave theory and application knowledge. Our society promotes the advancement of microwave theory and its applications, including RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz technologies. The SBC is headed by Prof. (Dr) Sayantani Datta and Prof. (Dr.) Soumyo Chatterjee as Faculty Advisor and Executive Student Committee from the ECE Department. Active involvement of students has been one of the keys to the SBC's success and envisions the same in the future.
The SBC shall continue to outreach programs to students in engineering for taking forward the knowledge of microwave theory and its applications.
