IEEE SUDAN was established in 2011 by the current chair PROF.Sharif F.Babikir and other 12 professional members Since its founding it was able to maintain a community of researchers , engineers and enterpeneurs . Since then , IEEE Sudan expanded into eight student branches : University of Khartoum, Sudan University of Science and Technology, Alnelein University, Alzaeim Alazhari University, Almashreq University, Algezira University, University of Medical Science and Technology and Jordanian Sudanese College.
