The IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology publishes original research on terahertz theory, techniques, and applications as they relate to basic science, components, devices, circuits, and systems involving all aspects of terahertz waves (300 GHz – 10 THz). The Transactions covers a wide range of activities and developments in terahertz science and applications while, at the same time, helping to bridge the technology gap between the RF and photonics communities.
The IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology is the preeminent publication concerning terahertz science and technology, with an acceptance rate of 35% and an Impact Factor of 3.468. The Transactions is a hybrid journal and offers open access publishing options. The Transactions accepts both long, fully developed regular papers, in addition to shorter, more timely manuscripts; these papers will appear in our “THz Letters” section. Tutorial and review papers are also published, as well as occasional special issues, which present collections of papers that examine particular areas with a wider scope and more in-depth.
