IEEE is dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity and as so IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.
As the IEEE Student Branch of Thrace at Democritus University of Thrace our goal is to provide students with additional opportunities for academic, technological and professional development. Our activities include annual educational and technical groups, talks on topical issues in our industry, webinars on every field and interest, trainings and workshops, educational trips, as well as participation in technology, research and innovation competitions. Our members can achieve a lot of knowledge and through us can engineer their dreams into a reality.
