IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is one of the largest international professional organizations dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering. The mission of IEEE WIE is to facilitate the recruitment and retention of women in technical disciplines globally. Our main goal is to motivate and inspire future engineers to pursue the scientific careers and interests of their dreams. We intend to fight any disparities of opportunity that may arise in the scientific community, thus promoting a diverse environment of ideas and innovative opinions. WIE Rio de Janeiro Section support all SB's WIE groups of Rio de Janeiro.
