Iele-Sânziene Association is a feminist organization founded in 2019, working in the field of gender equality and sexual and reproductive rights.
We primarily address the lack of critical information regarding menstrual health and sexuality education amongst teenagers and we aim to inspire young people to become activists for gender equality, inclusion and acceptance.
We advocate for equitable and universal access to menstrual products and we are the initiators of the Petition for Free Pads in Schools, which has gathered over 40,000 signatures and led to several pilot projects in schools.
