Menstruation Matters started as a small scale social accountability project in 2018 and has since developed into a charity composed of university students, junior doctors and young professionals all working together for a single purpose: to combat the harms of period poverty.
With the help of generous donations, menstrual products are packaged into care packages for donation. These donations provide those suffering from period poverty with free sanitary products on a monthly basis to meet their monthly needs!
We also arrange regular fundraising and awareness events to help spread the word in an effort to combat the stigma surrounding periods!
