The Institution of Engineers – Somalia (IES), established in
2024, aims to promote networking and community
awareness, advance engineering education and knowledge
sharing, foster research and innovation, represent the
engineering community, and uphold ethics and professional
conduct.
MISSION
Our mission is to advance the science and profession of
engineering in Somalia by promoting innovation, ethical
practices, and professional growth, to enhance the well-being of
society and contribute meaningfully to humanity.
OUR VISION
IES aims to be the leading professional engineering body in
Somalia, advocating for ethical standards, excellence, and
best practices across all engineering sectors to support the
nation’s development.
