iessi is a modern Italian aperitif inspired by our founder Nico’s family traditions. Naturally alcohol-free, our signature recipe is rooted in the flavors and heritage of northern Italy, with notes of gentian, rhubarb, bitter orange and a spicy hint of chili pepper.
The name 'iessi' means simply “to be, to exist” in Friulian — the regional language still spoken in the little-known corner of Italy where we first crafted our apéritifs.
It’s pronounced “ee-yess-ee.”
