Shifting food systems drives better health, equity, wildlife protection, rewilding, resilience, and thriving communities. We want the best evidence to reach the people who need it most. We focus on five core areas: Environment Health Zoonotic Risk Economics Misinformation and Disinformation Why this matters Food systems are one of the most under focused areas to improve lives, reduce harm, and build a better future. But most solutions remain fragmented, and the loudest voices, and industry narratives, often drown out the science. IFFS is here to change that by connecting tools, mobilizing networks, and sharpening strategies so progress moves faster and smarter.
