IFIByNE is the Institute for Physiology, Molecular Biology and Neurosciences (IFIByNE, CONICET). As a consequence of the agreement between UBA and CONICET reached in 2005, IFIByNE acquires a dual affiliation and identifies itself as IFIBYNE UBA -CONICET.
The Institute is devoted to basic research. Its main research lines are framed into Neurosciences, Physiology and Molecular Biology. The activities performed point at achieving a scientific-technological advancement and developing, considering that it will allow the understanding of various phenomena, hopefully influential to improve the quality of life.
