IFLAND ENGINEERS INC. has provided civil engineering and structural design services since 1962 for thousands of public and private improvement projects in Santa Cruz, Monterey and Santa Clara Counties and has engineered landmark projects such as the Lighthouse on West Cliff Drive and the Clock Tower in downtown Santa Cruz.
Our civil engineering project history includes site development, roadway design, utility design, accessibility design, stormwater management to meet NPDES requirements and provisions of storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) preparation as a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD).
Our structural engineering work includes the design of numerous retaining walls utilizing a variety of techniques to fit site and soil conditions, commercial buildings constructed of concrete, steel or timber, single and multi-family residential buildings, foundations and minor bridges.
We work with healthcare/medical facilities, municipalities, private developers (commercial, residential, mixed-use, affordable housing), builders, universities and schools districts, churches, home owners, geotechnical engineers, architects and landscape architects to provide quality service and assist them in meeting their project needs.
