IFMIA Kenitra

The IFMIA projet is a network of Institutes for Training Automotive Industry Professionals to provide vocational training to complement and support the development of the country’s automotive sector in Tangier, Casablanca and Kenitra and to promote the involvement of automotive industry professionals in the management and implementation of training. The IFMIA of Kenitra is the result of the convention signed between the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Employment and Ministry of Economy and the consortium composed of Atlantic Free Zone, the Mondragon Corporation and the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce, which will manage the institute. The IFMIA is built at Atlantic Free Zone in Kenitra on a 18.000 m2 plot and will comprise a block for workshops similar to a production unit, a block for classrooms, a block for administration and a residential block with restaurant. This training centre provide technical training to the workforce of automotive industry companies which are established at Atlantic Free Zone. IFMIA Kenitra have the capacity to train at least 800 operators, technicians and intermediate managers every year.
