IFMO is a symphony orchestra dedicated to film music production and performance. Molded by the most talented and dynamic musicians of Turkey, Istanbul Film Music Orchestra is assembled with the common initiative of focusing solely on film music lead by the successful and innovative Turkish conductor Kerem Esemen since 2007. IFMO rehearses and performs both as a symphony orchestra and as smaller strings & jazz orchestras with a wide range of repertoire including not only original soundtracks but also any composition featuring in movies; from classical, ethnic, pop, rock and many more genres. IFMO provides services including but not limited to original soundtrack composition, professional recording, mixing and mastering to serve the film industry including feature movies, trailers, TV series and commercial advertisements.
