Independent First Nations Alliance

The Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA) is a First Nations-led Tribal Council with the objective of providing customized support to the communities they serve. IFNA supports and works for the five communities of Whitesand First Nation, Lac Seul First Nation, Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug, Pikangikum First Nation and Muskrat Dam First Nation. With an in-depth understanding and appreciation of how each community operates, and taking into consideration their First Nations perspectives, IFNA works tirelessly to provide unique advisory services, build resources and contribute to other types of support in order to help each community achieve excellence and self-reliance. IFNA prides itself on being an accessible, First Nations-oriented resource with the goal of working for, and with, the people and the communities they serve. Offices of the Independent First Nation Alliance are currently in Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay.
