IFOAM Seeds Platform

The IFOAM Seeds Platform is a global network of individuals and organizations advancing seed and plant breeding for organic, agroecological, and regenerative systems. We need greater diversity and larger supply of high-quality, regionally adapted planting materials for truly sustainable producers all over the globe. Building these genetic resources and assuring their survival is an existential imperative. We foster interdependence across the entire value chain, creating pathways and tools to enable the whole food system to work together. The Seeds Platform is evolving and inclusive. We blend experience and wisdom with new ideas and innovation. We invite participation from anyone who is aligned with the Principles of Organic Agriculture.
