The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) CBIT College Unit is a student-run organization dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and green building initiatives within the campus and beyond. As a unit of the IGBC, our mission is to create awareness and educate the community on the importance of sustainable living and its impact on the environment. Through various initiatives and activities, we aim to encourage students and faculty members to adopt eco-friendly practices and promote sustainable building practices. We believe that by promoting sustainable living, we can not only reduce our carbon footprint but also contribute towards creating a healthier and greener future. Our activities include organizing seminars, workshops, and guest lectures on sustainable building practices and technologies. We also conduct awareness campaigns on water conservation, energy efficiency, waste management, and other related topics.
