iGEM Bulgaria

iGEM Bulgaria is an NGO focused on supporting and coordinating the iGEM Bulgaria team of talented and dedicated students from various universities in Bulgaria who are passionate about synthetic biology and are participating in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition. Our team's mission is to develop innovative research projects that address real-world challenges using synthetic biology tools and techniques. We strive for scientific excellence and aim to push the boundaries of the field through our work. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds, including biology, chemistry, medicine, computer science, public relations, journalism, engineering and more. Together, we collaborate and leverage our unique skills to design and build novel biological systems that can be applied in various fields, such as healthcare, agriculture, and environmental science. Our projects have been recognized and awarded in previous iGEM competitions, and we are determined to continue this tradition of excellence.
