ReFiBa (Enzyme-based Recycling of Textile Fibers using Bacillus) aims to efficiently recycle textiles by using fiber degrading enzymes that are either secreted by bacteria or immobilized on their spores.
The project is our contribution to the iGEM Competition 2024 as the TU Dresden team 2024 and ends with the result presentation at the Grand Jamboree in Paris in late October 2024.
