The iGEM Munich team consists of both students from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU). Combining the strengths of both, we aim to compete with the top runners of iGEM. In 2016, 2017, and 2018 alone, the Munich team was a runner-up twice and winner once. These projects have resulted in 5 publications, 2 patents, and a start-up (Invitris, Kilian Vogele).
