We’re engineering a duckweed beastie 🌿 that thrives on ammonium-rich manure 💩 and transforms it into protein-packed animal feed 🐄🐖 — all in vertical containers right at large cattle and swine farms! 🚜 With nitro-duckweed, farmers will save money, while cutting carbon emissions 🌍 and reducing nitrogen pollution 💧from unsustainable protein sources like soybeans 🌱By doing so, we aim to win the top biotech competition globally — iGEM! 🏆
