Ignite Photonics Foundation

Ignite Photonics Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fueling the growth of the photonics industry through impactful initiatives and program related investments. By providing STEM scholarships, Ignite supports the next generation of innovators in optics and photonics. Its shadowing and mentorship programs inspire curiosity and knowledge about photonic technologies in schools and communities. Additionally, the Foundation offers a unique equipment lease-to-own program for startups, enabling access to cutting-edge tools. In return, participating startups contribute time on the equipment for educational outreach, creating a virtuous cycle of innovation and learning that strengthens the photonics ecosystem.
