The Isfahan Healthcare City University of Applied Science and Technology is the second applied science university of medical sciences in Iran. The university was established in November 2022 and currently operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and it is part of the Isfahan Healthcare City centre of science and innovation which includes research institutes and research centres, an applied science university, an innovation centre, and a skill training centre for medical sciences. This educational institution currently offers medical engineering programmes at the associate level (in the fields of Operating Room Equipment, Infection Prevention and Control Equipment, and medical diagnostic laboratory Equipment) without an entrance exam.
آموزش علمی و دانشگاهی کاربرد-محور کلیه پرسنل خدمت رسان در حوزه سلامت، از رسالت های شهرک سلامت اصفهان می باشد. در این راستا مجتمع علمی-دانشگاهی شهرک سلامت شامل؛ مراکز علمی و تحقیقاتی تخصصی، دانشگاه، مرکز نوآوری و مرکز آموزش مهارتی علوم پزشکی در دست راه اندازی می باشند. در آغاز به کار این محفل علمی، دانشگاه علمی-کاربردی شهرک سلامت اصفهان به عنوان دومین دانشگاه علمی-کاربردی خدمات سلامت در ایران، در آذرماه ١٤٠١ تحت نظارت وزارت علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری شروع به کار نمود. این مرکز آموزشی در حال حاضر در رشته های مهندسی پزشکی در مقطع کاردانی و در گرایش های؛ تجهیزات اتاق عمل، کنترل عفونی و آزمایشگاه پزشکی بدون کنکور (با بررسی سوابق تحصیلی) دانشجو می پذیرد. همچنین رشته های گردشگری سلامت، هتلداری بیمارستان، مدیریت اجرایی بیمارستان، مطب داری، مشاوره تغذیه، ماساژ ورزشی و کایروپرکتیک، مراقبت زیبایی پوست و مو، مشاور مادر و کودک، مشاور سالمند و ... در مقاطع کاردانی و کارشناسی به رشته های دانشگاه افزوده خواهند شد.
