AUY movement - האיחוד החקלאי

The Youth Union of the Agricultural Union is one of the thirteen youth movements recognized by the Ministry of Education in Israel. The youth movement of the agricultural union was established almost thirty years ago by the veterans of the settlers in the settlement villages of the agricultural union. These settlements were established by German immigrants mainly from the 1930s. The founders' goal was to educate and train a high-quality generation of young people - values that will be the continuation of rural settlement. After a decade as a youth unit, in 1987 the Ministry of Education recognized the activities of the youth movement - and since then the Youth Movement has been supported and supervised by the Ministry of Education and the Youth Movement Division.
