IIAS - International Institute of Administrative Sciences

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences is a public administration association of Ministries, Schools of Government, National Associations, Universities and Individuals. It was established in 1930 and is headquartered in Brussels. It organizes scientific conferences, publishes scientific material and provides quality assurance services in education: - The IIAS Conference targets a global audience of public administration and policy professionals; - The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) Conference targets a global audience of public administration academics; - The European Group of Public Administration (EGPA) Conference targets a European audience of public administration academics; - The International Review of Administrative Sciences (IRAS) is a ranked public administration journal with an international comparative focus published by Sage; - Developments in Administration (DinA) is an emerging open access journal connected to the global conferences of the IIAS published by it; - Governance and Public Management (GaPM) is a book series edited by the IIAS Director of Publications and published by Springer, focused on public administration systems of IIAS Member Countries; - The Public Governance Series (PGS) is an open access book series published by the IIAS aimed at diffusing the content produced by members; - The International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration education and training (ICAPA) delivers international quality assurance services to education and training programs on basis on the United Nations Standards of Excellence for Public Administration education and training; - The European Association of Public Administration Accreditation (EAPAA) is a joint-venture between IIAS/EGPA and the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee) providing quality assurance services for education programs in Europe.
