IIBEC Delaware Valley Chapter

IIBEC is the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants. Members specialize in design, investigation, repair, and management of roofing, exterior wall, and waterproofing systems. Since 1983, IIBEC (formerly Roof Consultants Institute) members have offered unbiased design, repair planning, quality observance, legal testimony, and general roof management services. In March of 2006, IIBEC expanded its mission and service scope to include waterproofing and the building envelope. This action reflects the understanding that roofing issues often influence the entire building envelope. It was discovered that in increasing frequency, IIBEC Members are called upon to address building-wide concerns from below-grade to rooftop. The IIBEC Delaware Valley Chapter is a locally-oriented group dedicated to serving the needs of IIBEC members in the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas and promoting the values of IIBEC on a local level. The Chapter seeks to present educational programs designed to explain the practical application of roofing and waterproofing technology and sound building enclosure theory, provides networking opportunities for Chapter members, and supports good relations and close cooperation between consultants, manufacturers, contractors, and other trade associations.
