Industry Interaction Cell for Computing and Technology

The Industry Interaction Cell for Computing and Technology (IICfCT) serves as the industrial arm bridging academia and industry, recognizing the important relationship between the two entities. IICfCT is dedicated to fostering collaboration, enhancing students' employability, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise between academic scholars and industry professionals. The IICfCT is currently engaged in coordinating a diverse range of professional activities and employability enhancement programs tailored to benefit students within the Faculty. These initiatives are strategically designed to bolster students' soft skills, expand their knowledge base, and deepen their understanding of the corporate sector. Moreover, the Cell's strategic planning encompasses continuous efforts towards career growth for every student through various industry-oriented programs. The activities of the IICfCT are systematically organized under these main categories: Systems development, implementation, and maintenance. Contract research & development and consultancies. Enhancing Teaching & Learning ,Training & Professional Development. Objectives Strengthen students' soft skills, expand their knowledge base, and deepen their understanding of the corporate sector. Foster collaboration between academia and industry. Enhance students' employability through industry-oriented programs. Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise between academic scholars and industry professionals. Coordinate professional activities and employability enhancement programs within the Faculty. Provide opportunities for students to engage in systems development, contract research, training, and education. Through these objectives and activities, the IICfCT aims to prepare students for the dynamic demands of the professional world while contributing to the advancement of computing and engineering technology industries.
