The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA MAC) is a premier professional organization committed to advancing interior design knowledge and fostering greater awareness of the industry. We aim to expand the appreciation of interior design, not only among professionals but also within the broader public.
Formed in 1999 through the merger of the IIDA Washington Metro and IIDA Baltimore Chapters, IIDA MAC serves the dynamic region encompassing the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. This includes Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford, and Fauquier counties, along with the independent cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, Leesburg, Middleburg, Warrenton, Manassas, Manassas Park, and Fredericksburg.
As part of the global IIDA network, we are dedicated to fostering community, advocacy, and education for interior design professionals and promoting the impact of design on the spaces where people live, work, and play.
