dhaRti Foundation promoted by IIT Dharwad is a section-8, not-for-profit, Research & Technology Incubator established in October 2022, Innovators, Founders, and Startups focusing in the areas of ✅ Biosciences Innovation (Drug Discovery & Development, Medical Technologies, Biotechnology, and Healthcare Solutions) ✅ Sustainable Food & Agriculture (BioAgri, Nutrition, FoodTech, and Agritech) ✅ NewGen Technologies (Defense Tech, Industry 4.0, Additive Manufacturing & Advanced Materials, and Transportation & Mobility) ✅ Clean Energy & Sustainability (Renewable Energy Technologies, Clean Water & Sanitation Solutions, and Circular Economy) will be supported for growth. To specifically address challenges in the healthcare & biosciences sectors and bolster this innovation ecosystem in the North Karnataka region, dhaRti Foundation has established the first-of-its-kind dhaRti BioNEST Incubation Centre, co-funded by the Hon'ble Minister of Finance & Corporate Affairs of Govt. of India - Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman through MPLAD Scheme and Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC).
