IIUM Robotic Team, also known as IIUM Roboteam, was founded in 2007. Serves as an excellent platform for students to apply their engineering knowledge outside of the classroom. What began as a small group of enthusiastic students now grown into a thriving community comprising primarily engineering and IT students.
Over the years, IIUM Roboteam has actively participated in numerous local and international robotic competitions, securing victories in several prestigious events. Some of the notable competitions include Robotic Contest (ROBOCON), Malaysian International Robotic Competitions (MIROC), Freescale, Asia Pacific Robotic Competition 2015 (APROC'15), Pathfinder, Malaysia Autonomous Vehicle Challenge (MAVeC), and Kibo Robot Programming Challenge.
